In what is believed to be the first Golden West history, Stewart Bryan captured the WYL boys tennis singles title. Bryan, who did not not loose one match in league-play this season, went on to keep his record perfect. On the road towards the league title, Bryan knocked off Mt. Whitney’s Seth Herrera in the quarterfinals and then Redwood’s Mark Garcia in the semifinals. In the finals Bryan dominated Lemoore’s No. 3-seed Mike Sinaga, coasting to the WYL title by a score of 6-0, 6-0.
