For the second year in a row, Heather Hutchinson took the top spot on the podium at the Division II Women’s Diving Valley Championships.

Not only did she repeat as Valley Champion, but she qualified for the CA State Swim & Dive Championship. In doing so, Heather became the FIRST EVER Golden West Aquatics athlete to make it to State Championships. To qualify for State Championships, you must place in the top 3 overall (both Division I & II). Heather’s score placed her 2nd overall in the valley and qualified her for a trip to the CA State Swim & Dive Championships at Clovis West on May 19 & 20 (women’s dive is Friday, May 19).

Congratulations Heather… you make us all proud to be called Trailblazers!

Also placing in the top 16 were Kallyn Nordell (11th) & Hayley Brown (13th).

GO BLAZERS!!!
