The GW boys tennis team beat Lemoore 7-2 on the GW courts. Stewart Bryan played one of his best matches as he lead the team at the number one spot. With his serve and crushing forehand, Stewart won 6-1, 6-2.
The team has been working on playing tougher on the pressure points, and Billy Torres and David Hernandez showed how it was done winning in tiebreakers. Kanwar Singh and Marius Keul rounded out the singles win.
In doubles, Stewart and Kanwar made it look easy with an 8-0 win. Javi and Billy took on Lemoore’s number one team, and played well to win 8-4.
The team will play their last home WYL match against El D on Wednesday. Come out and support the team as they get ready to start playoffs.
