Boys Junior Varsity Water Polo, Boys Varsity Water Polo · GW ALUMNI WATCH… Seth Nordell (Class of 2014)

Seth Nordell

(Boys Water Polo & Diving – Class of 2014)

Seth is currently in his third year at the United States Military Academy West Point. Seth started his freshman year diving for the swim/dive team at West Point. As a sophomore he decided to switch sports and join the water polo team. This year the USMA club water polo team competed at the New York State Club Water Polo Championships in Buffalo, NY. In the championship game against Cornell, Seth scored two goals to help West Point defeat Cornell 9-7 and secure, for West Point, a berth at the US National Club Water Polo Championships this coming weekend (November 11-13) at University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. Because of this, and Veterans Day coming up on Friday, we feature Seth Nordell in our “GW Alumni Watch” this week. Good luck to Seth and the rest of the USMA water polo team this weekend at Nationals.

During his 4 years at GWHS, Seth was a two-sport athlete. He played water polo & was a diver. He won two consecutive league championships in 1 Meter Dive his Junior & Senior years. He also set, and currently holds, the GW school record for 6 dives and 11 dives.
