Girls Water Polo Stand-out Meg Gostanian Breaks School Record

This past Thursday as the Trailblazers faced off  against the Hanford Bullpups, Meg Gostanian made a lot of passes to her teammates, but one of those passes had more significance than the others. It was the pass to to her fellow teammate, which led to a score and allowed Meg to surpass the GWHS Girls Assists record.

Girls Basketball Tryout Are Coming Up Oct. 29-31

All Girls interested in trying out for the 2019-2020 basketball teams, Tryouts will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday October 29th and 30th from 3:45-5:45pm and on Thursday October 31st from 6-7:15pm. You must attend tryouts all three days.

Boys Soccer Tryout Begin Tues, Oct. 29th

Try outs for the boys JV and varsity soccer teams begin Tuesday, October 29th at 3:30pm on the practice field.  Any player not in a fall sport is expected to be there.  If you have any questions come by E-2 and see Coach McCaw.

GW Football Drops Another Close One

The Trailblazers ran into a worthy opponent this past Friday in the form of the Lemoore Tigers. Both teams were able to find the end-zone numerous times throughout the game, unfortunately, with 3:30 left in the game, the Tigers found the end-zone again and were able to break the 29-29 tie and win the game 36-29. GWHS Cross Country Invitational

The Golden West Cross Country Invitational meet was this past Friday Oct. 4th. at Cutler Park. There were 20 schools divided into 2 divisions.  The Open Division had 12 teams and while the Sweepstakes division consisted of 8 teams. The GW Varsity Boys took 3rd place out of 12 teams in the Open Division.
