GW Football continues to roll through playoffs as they took down Kerman 51-30 this past Friday. The Golden West football game on Friday, November 9th is here at The Groppetti Stadium. Gates will open at 5:30 pm. Kickoff is at 7:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased ahead of time in the finance office between now and Thursday afternoon. CIF sets the ticket prices at $8 for adults and $6 for students
The Lady Trailblazers defeated the Lady Miners to bring the Paddle back to GW in the annual “Battle for the Paddle”.
This year, in the annual “Battle for the Saddle”, on Friday night, Oct. 26, the Trailblazers ended up topping the Miners 28-17 to bring home the Saddle. Advance Tickets for the Battle for the Saddle between El Diamante and Golden West on Friday October 26, will be on sale at both Golden West High School and El Diamante. Tickets will be sold Wednesday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm in the Finance Offices at both schools. The ticket booth and gate will open at 5:30pm Friday night.
Yesterday your Golden West Ladies Golf team played in the Valley Championship Tournament, competing against 12 other Division 3 teams. The girls played great and captured the Valley Champion Runner Up honor. Mya Chao placed 4th individual overall and 3 of our players (Mya Chao, Cynthia Reyes and Madison Reyna) are advancing to the Area

Boys’ Basketball tryouts will begin on Monday, October 29th. Freshmen will be in the Main Gym from 3:40-5:10 JV will be in the Mini Gym from 6:00-8:00 and Varsity will be in the Main Gym from 6:00-8:00PM All boys interested in playing basketball this season need to attend. Tryouts will be held Monday-Thursday.
