GWHS Advances to D-IV Championship Game

The Golden West Trailblazers earned a slot at the D-IV section championship game, by beating Kerman 31-19. The Trailblazers go in as the #1 seed and will face the #2 seed Central Valley Christian. GW Football Advances To SemiFinals

With a 49-34 win over Roosevelt this past Friday, the Trailblazers move onto the semifinals of section playoffs where they will face #4 seed Kerman, the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, Nov 24 at 7pm at Groppetti Automotive Visalia Community Stadium. GW Football Heads Into Playoffs As #1 Seed

Playoffs began last week, but the Trailblazers had a bye because they earned the #1 seed. This Friday (11-17-17) they will face-off against Roosevelt from Fresno at 7pm at Groppetti Stadium in Visalia. Come out and cheer on our boys to VICTORY!!! Check out the playoff bracket below. GW’s Gonzalo Rodriguez Sets Rushing Record, Leads GWHS To Victory

Golden West’s senior running back, Gonzalo Rodriguez, ran for 181 yards and three touchdowns in their 47-14 win over Mt. Whitney. That was not the only amazing part of the evening. It was a 25 yard touchdown run in the second quarter that helped him surpass the all-time rushing record for the city of Visalia.
