GW’s Jason Pascua and Hunter Bayne Selected For All-Star Game

Jason Pascua and Hunter Bayne were selected to play in the second annual Tulare-Kings High School All-Star Basketball Game. Boys and Girls Basketball Season Comes To An End

Both the boys and girls basketball season came to an end in their first game of playoffs. In the girls game on Wednesday night, the Lady Trailblazers (6th seed) earned a home game against Frontier HS (11th seed) from Bakersfield. In the end, Frontier was able to edge the GW girls 44-39. Boys Basketball Stumbles Against Strong Miners

With a five point lead and only 32 seconds remaining in the game, the GW boys basketball team could almost taste the victory and with that a league championship. But the Miners were not about to concede the win to the Trailblazers. They were able to tie up the score at 43-43 and force overtime.
